AIM AND SCOPE

The Korean Society for Railway(KSR) is the only Korean Railway Academic Organization which founded in 1997 January. KSR deals with all kinds of Railway Issues including Railway Technology and Policy as well as Operation issues.
The International Journal of Railway(IJR) is published by the Korean Society for Railway in Korea. It is published four times per year and is directed toward the needs of academia, practitioners, executives, researchers, students, and the general public interested in Railway Technology, Operation, Management and Policy.

The area that the journal will cover include but are not limited to:

Rolling Stock System includes
SE Technology, Railway System I/F Technology, LCA, Carbody, Bogie, Traction/Braking, and R/S Control Technology.

Power Supply, Signalling, and Telecommunication includes
Power Supply, Catenary, Signalling, Telecommunication, and Energy Conversion.

Civil and Track includes
Track, Railway Bridge, Railway Tunnel, and Station Layout Design.

Policy, Logistics and Design includes
Railway Management, Railway Operation, Railway Policy, Technology Policy, Railway Information, Logistics, Railway Design & Culture, and Project Management.
